Lil Bit of Nella’s Notes - Happy Father's Day/Independence Day!

Summer Fun

Push LAWN MOWER; slow Nel. with Hat

Need some exercise?  Buy you a push mower!  I’m in the process of getting a riding mower but my yard needed attention so I bought a little 20” cut and I’ve pushed that little thing all over this big yard.  I have to break it down in 4-5 days but I’ve actually enjoyed the work.  It makes me so thankful I feel different from five years ago when I was in bad shape.  The Lord led me into a better way of eating, juicing, and detoxing and it sure has made a difference.  I’ve learned so much about fighting cancer with natural food and remedies.

I’ve had a wonderful weekend.  My niece Ranessa chose to come to my house and celebrate her 30th birthday and I was tickled.  Her and her mom use Nature’s Sunshine so I bought her some of the skin care which she loves.  She is my web designer and I’m so proud of her.  She is also a Certified Herbalist.

We celebrated her birthday in Grapevine, TX at the Lone Star Dinner/Drama and we walked around and found all kinds of things to enjoy on a Saturday afternoon.  Pictured is Rhonda & Bobby Hendrix, Tonya McDonald, Me, Ranessa. All five of us are avid herb takers so we have a lot in common as well as being blood kin.

Tonya & Judy are two of my sisters and Lissa is a cousin.  All three are my Consultants/herb users.  I’m so proud of them for being interested in natural alternatives VS chemical products.  I feel my 40 plus years in this field has not been in vain and I hope I’ve influenced thousands of others as well.

All are available for download here.

NSP Educational week June, 2023 ~ Notes on Neuron/Brain:

Blueberries and most other berries such as currants, cranberries, & grapes can improve brain health.  Strawberries come in last. Other good things are: apples, green tea, and dark chocolate.

Grape seed is good for the eyes.

Ginkgo is a powerful Herb.  It came through the Jap warheads in WW11 and it didn’t die.

The mother of all berries for brain/body health is Mangosteen.

Many foods cause allergies such as gluten, and dairy because they contain too much lectin.

To combat lectins, you need Polyphenols.  Eat a rainbow of colors each day.

Some herbs such as ginseng can only be digested with enough Polyphenols.

If a food causes you to “pucker” it’s got Polyphenols. Such as capsicum, paprika, thyme, cinnamon, rosemary, parsley, cloves, anise, capers, ginger, cumin, basil, lemon, marjoram, black tea, oregano, sage, peppermint, bay leaves, chamomile, fenugreek, raisin.

Seeds that contain Polyphenols are flaxseed & celery seed.

Nuts: chestnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, almonds, walnuts

Olives: black and green

Veggies that contain Polyphenols: artichokes, chicory, red onion, spinach, broccoli, and endive.

Oil: EV olive oil, grape seeds.

Some of NSP’s formulas that contain Polyphenols: Menthyl combo, Magnesium Complex, Adrenal support, Fenugreek & Thyme, and Mangosteen juice to name a few.

One of the healthiest things I do daily drinks two homemade Health Juice from my juicer/blender.

I make it from items I have on hand such as:

Carrots, Apples, celery (natural sodium the stomach needs or it will pull sodium from the knees), blueberries, beets, cranberry juice, Aloe Vera juice, silver liquid, Apple cider vinegar, bananas, Bentonite clay and a drop or two of cayenne/capsicum liquid.  It’s honestly really good.  Carrots, Apples and lemons, and ginger are the top ingredients.

You will notice lots of Polyphenols and I didn’t even know it until this month! It is a God thing.

Tidbit #2:

Take Probiotics with every meal.  It takes a good environment for food to process and digest properly.  It takes a healthy gut to clean and detoxify.  It takes healthy glands to balance and maintain hormones.  Probiotics help to create a healthy environment for all of this to happen properly.  I don't think you can take too many.

Don Quai oh the benefits! Pronounced “don kwy,” it is considered the queen of herbs by the Chinese and is China’s most popular herb for women. Chinese physicians use dong quai to enrich the blood, promote circulation, regulate menstruation, calm nerves and soothe the intestines.
